Hi, we are currently running on Sharepoint Online, and I was asked to build a task tool to track all our project etc.
The last change we made is the possibility to add comments to the task through versioning.
In our tool we have task (called initiative) and subtask (called task). Comments and versioning works pretty fine.
The problem that we have is that every month we do a report of all high priority task about where they are at (% completed, etc). We wanted to add the latest comment to this report. But works partially.
When I open the Sharepoint list in either Excel or Access for the report, only the subtask comments gets extracted, all the task comment that as been added by the user are not extracted.
I read so far that it is possible that someone modified the task but didn't added any comment, so the new version of that task "doesn't have" any comments.
My questions here are: Why do I only get subtask comment extracted and how can I get all those comment (or updates) made by the users in my report. I don't want all the comments from all version, just the latest, but only a small number of my task comments gets extracted to Excel or Access.
