We have a requirement where user wants some kind of fusion of Collaboration and Social networking on SharePoint Online. Here are the details.
Let us say we have a Library/Discussion Board. Now whatever a user (User A) does on these, activity will appear on his/her newsfeed. If someonefollowing User A does somemting (Likes, comments, rates etc.) those are also seen on User A's news feed.
Now if someone (not following User A) does similar activity those are not reflected on User A's news feed, though they are very much visible on the item.
Now this can be achieved in Newsfeeds using some API.
My QUESTION is - can this be made feasible in Yammer as well. Since Yammer is more flaunting and has an edge over newsfeed, users want the feasibility check for Yammer as well.
