Question for you SharePoint gurus. I volunteer at a bare bones non-profit. We are thinking of migrating to Office 365 which comes with SharePoint Online. This is free for us as a 501c3 organization. One question is whether SP can replace
our WordPress public website (google Arlington Neighborhood Villages to view site because this forum not allowing me to put in urls yet). Aside from content, it uses plug-ins for online volunteer and membership forms, a nice calendar, and
a nice blog feature.
When I say replace, I mean using out of the box SP without SharePoint Designer and without customizing the master page. Just using out of the box webparts or free 3rd-party website. Is this a good idea or should we leave the public website alone? We would want it to look as nice or nicer than the current website. Your feedback would be appreciated.
