Metadata

Dear Sirs,

Is it possible to pass a metadata value from a parent folder to a child subfolder in Sharepoint Online (2013)?

Let say I have a folder named Team and a subfolder named SubTeam. If i  create a content type(or with another method) metadata named Director_Name, is it possible the subfolder SubTeam inherit the value of Director_Name from the folder Team ?
