Greetings!
When we first started using SharePoint Online, Office 365, and DirSync the Department and Job Title attributes in Active Directory were very inconsistent (spelling mistakes, old Department names, etc). All of these were imported to SPO as managed metadata terms in the People term group. Naturally, we'd like to clean these up now.
What is the best way to clean up the Job Title, Departmentand Office term sets in the People term group? Is deleting terms one-by-one the best way? Can I delete all terms and expect them to be re-created by SharePoint based on current users?
