Sharepoint online global/Site navigation ?

Hi ,

We were planning to use Meatadate navigation as per http://blog.mastykarz.nl/building-global-navigation-sharepoint-2013/

But here the limitation seems to be that term set can't be shared across site collections ..

So any better ideas to achive this with no coding ..very less coding?
