Hi,
This seems to be a simple requirement but I can't seem to find a solution. Here is the scenario.
- I have a document library in Sharepoint Online containing a couple of hundred documents.
- The document library has a search text box.
- The end user knows the first couple of words of the filename, for example if the file is called "Release Notes Technical codename 3.2.docx" and the user enters "Release Notes Technical" into the search field without the quotes - the filename does not appear anywhere near the top of the returned results.
Is there a way to modify the default behaviour so that filenames matches are displayed first? I know I can tell users to enter something like filename:"Release Notes Technical" into the search box but this isn't intuitive from an end users perspective?
Regards Danny
