We are trying to find a way to create a portal for our clients where they can download documents? Someone suggested SharePoint to do this for us.
Does anyone know of an app or a way to do this? Ideally we'd like the user to log in with a username and password and have them be able to upload and download files that are on our shared drive, in their directory. We sort our clients documents in folders, so if Bill Smith logged into the system, he'd essentially be able to view the contents of the Bill Smith folder we have on our network. We want to avoid having the staff have to upload files to the website after they've modified them, so they'd simply save the documents on their machine and the most current version would be available in the portal.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
