Nested Azure AD Groups issue in SharePoint Online

I have created a Following AD Groups in Azure AD - 

Azure AD group 1 

Azure AD group 2

And added a user A  in Azure AD group 2 .

And then gave full control rights to Azure AD group 1  on a SharePoint site. When i tried to acces site using User A, i got access denied error.

Then i gave rights to Azure AD group 2 on Sharepoint site, user A was able to login into site.

I tested this n number of times adn same results.

This is not an exepcted behaviour ..... What am i missing here ? have u experience the same thing
