I am quite new to Sharepoint Online. I am currently using Sharepoint 2013 Designer and Sharepoint Online. I have a parent site MasterInventory with a list called "Categories". I also have a subsite MasterInventory/ProductInventory which inherits all permission from MasterInventory. In the parent site MasterInventory I created a lookup column called "CategoryLookup" which gets data from Categories. In the subsite I added CategoryLookup column to an Inventory List but when I clicked on the CategoryColumn in the subsite, all I see is "Service isn't available". How can I fix the problem? I really dont want to duplicate Categories list in all the subsites (there will be multiple Project subsites) so keeping it in the Parent site seems to be logical but with this error, it's impossible.
