To facilitate this I have had to keep all my information in one parent site so I can link my issues, tasks, etc. to my contacts, by using the lookup column.
But this is frustrating because I lose the ability to use separate sites for Bookkeeping or HR (using list permission levels are a nightmare with this method) I have to keep all the list on one page so I can use the look up field.
So what I am trying to do is have one common contact list across the whole site. Is this possible?
-I know can view list on other sites with web parts. This is not what I am looking for.
I have look for info on this for months. Purchased books. Did practice sites. Nothing works.
