The SharePoint online environment for one of our customers is extremely slow.
We’re working on a collaboration pilot for SharePoint online but it’s nearly impossible to configure the sites/pages. Most of the time we’ve to wait a long time to continue working on the pages, and that over and over again. At the moment, it’s nearly impossible
to configure the site because it’s just not responding normally. Also browsing through the site is really slow and the customer is now complaining because they find the site unusable.
At this time, no users are on the site so I'm the only user workin on the site. However, it's really slow.
The site has some customizations:
- some sandbox solutions (rollup web parts for news and blogs and a metro grid web part for images/navigation)
- some apps (mini calendar, quick poll)
- a scriplet for twitter feeds.
Further we want to use a responisive theme (TheBootstrapTheme from bindtuning) but also with the standard SharePoint publishing pages, the SharePoint environment is slow.
What can we do to provide more resources and/or faster storage to present a normal SharePoint experience.
