I have a SharePoint Online tenant with the standard groups: 'Owners' and 'Members' containing some users. In the group settings of both groups, 'Owners' is mentioned as 'Group Owner'. This should mean that any user of the 'Owners' group should be able to add users to both 'Owners' and 'Members' groups. However, the users of group 'Owners' get an access denied screen when clicking the 'Add user to group' option.
What is going on here, this seems like a bug ? (Note: site collection admin is able to add users, but I do not want to add anyone as site collection admin)
