Cannot find s4-ribbonrow in oslo master page

Hi,

i am currently doing a modification in sharepoint online master page. i want to hide the gear icon on the top right so only users with administrator permission can see it.

i already read several articles about how to do it but i got lost.

i use oslo master page and i can't find the div for s4-ribbonrow, i can find it in seattle and in v4master but not in oslo.

does oslo has a different div id than the other 2 master page templates?

i try to use the developer tool in my browser to get the div id of the gear icon, but i still can't find it in oslo master page and html.

am i missing something or does anyone know how to hide the gear icon based on permission?
