I have configured a one-way Hybridization between a on-prem sharepoint (let's call it OPS) and our O365 Sharepoint (let's call it OLS).
Hybrid search works, since my account, which is a global admin account on O365 and a farm admin on-prem can see the results on both OPS and OLS.
Different things happen to regular users. If they search on OPS, they should see a block of results from OLS and then the OPS results. I thought it was a permission issue, so I created a test account, gave it web-application full access on OPS, and SC admin on OLS.
Still, nothing.
IF I promote my test user to a global admin on OLS, all of a sudden all the results come in.
The test user has even full access permissions on the search page on OPS.
What am I missing???
