Hi,
I don't know whether it's a lack of knowledge or a real issue, but I appreciate every kind of help for these issues:
- If I open a document in SharePoint Online it opens in Office web apps. This is my first issue, is it possible to force the option to open a document in Microsoft Office?
- If I chose open in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) it says that there isn't a programm that can handle the request, despite I've installed Microsoft Office 2010. What are the requirements to open a document properly?
- And the most important issue, when I access the SharePoint or a document on the SharePoint with the URL https://domain.sharepoint.com/whatever I get redirected to login.microsoftonline.com. What is the best practice solution to handle change this behaviour related to ADFS authentication? I know that this happens on purpose, due to the not on premise users are logging in on the microsoft site. But with ADFS and SSO this isn't the way to go. Is it possible to redirect login requests for https://domain.sharepoint.com/whatever to the ADFS Server (Local and Proxy)?
My Setup is:
- Office365
- SharePoint Online
- Exchange Online
- DirSync and Exchange Hybrid
- ADFS Proxy - external access with FBA
- ADFS - internal access with SSO
- Office365 <> Firewall <> ADFS Proxy <> Firewall <> ADFS <> LAN <> Client Computer
