Hello,
not sure i'm posting this to the right section...
I've been around the net a little bit but didn't find an answer to my question so here i am... I hope someone will be able to help me...
I'm asked to create a form for SharePoint Online (Office365). I'm using Infopath Designer 2013 for this. The specific requirement is ...the form has to be accessible offline ...on an iPad. Marketing people are provided with an iPad, they go around, have no connection but they have to fill in a form from which the information has to be synced with our Office 365 SharePoint when they get a connection back.
I created a Data Connection in InfoPath and saved my form so when i use InfoPath filler, I can fill in the form and submit it later. the problems are i can only do that with one form at a time( they might need to fill lots of forms before they get a wifi connection) and....it's on my computer !
We are using OneDrive as well so i know if i create a document library and synchronize it with OneDrive , it works the exact way i want and syncs the files automatically as soon as i connect my iPad to the wifi network...even if i do several changes.
So I thought about creating a document library and adding a "form" template that i create in an excel sheet. this way i will get all the information synchronized as soon as i connect but... I need a form !, they don't want it as a document.
Looking at OneDrive, i cannot add a list to it that would allow me to open my form offline...
Would someone know a way for my marketing guys to be able fill several forms in offline on an iPad and sync them automatically with a Sharepoint Online List (Office365) when reconnected to the Wifi ?
Thanks a lot for your help and your time,
Cedric
