So I'm trying to create a dashboard for my boss. He wants a dashboard that shows who attended meetings that are run by others. The others will submit a form on a SharePoint Online site. My intent was to create the dashboard in Excel. The SharePoint List has a field for multi-select "People and Group", and works fine.
However, when I make the connection (Excel 2016, newest update), the table loads fine, but where the participants should be, it's broken into two columns: ParticipantId and ParticipantStringId. In the cell for those, it simply says [List]. If I go to the advanced query editor, those become hyperlinks, but both just show some random, meaningless short numbers (ie, 37, 125, etc.). They both show the same thing.
Point is, how can I get Excel to show me the people's names in that cell? Keep in mind that the cells which show who participated will have multiple people, but never groups.
