Integrate SharePoint Online with SAP

Hi,

We are looking for solution to integrate SharePoint Online with on-premises SAP HCM module. How do we read and write data from SAP HCM module from SharePoint Online. Are there any limitation or boundaries for this integration. As SharePoint Online has some limitation and boundaries in terms of writing custom code.
