Managed properties in grey (like disable)

Hi all,

First of all happy new year to everybody!

I'm having issues with SharePoint Online...as background I'm deploying some content types to the content type hub and publishing all of them, it works like a charm. Then I create some items based on those content types and then I created some display templates in order to show some type of results. The problem is that SharePoint (in theory) should create the managed properties automatically but they are created and appeared in grey, like disable properties. I'm using SP Search Query Tool and I can retrieve the properties and they are populated but they are not retrieved by the display templates unfortunately.



Any ideas why they are in grey and why they are not retrieved in the display templates?
