We deploy Apps to customer tenants by the fairly well-known method of side-loading.
This involves
- Enabling the side loading feature 'AE3A1339-61F5-4f8f-81A7-ABD2DA956A7D'
- Calling the PnP commandlet Import-SPOAppPackage
- Turning off side-loading.
I noticed today that the feature now lo longer stays active after you add it and the Import-SPOAppPackage fails with error:
Import-SPOAppPackage : web.CurrentUser is null
or
Import-SPOAppPackage : The remote server returned an unexpected response: (405) Method Not Allowed.
or
Import-SPOAppPackage : Sideloading of apps is not enabled on this site.
Has anyone been able to reproduce this, or has a workaround?
