I am not part of the IT department and do not have back-end access to the Sharepoint site (Also, I don't have access to the resources and personnel necessary to troubleshoot this issue for me). I am, however, the site owner and have made other users either members or owners.
We are using Sharepoint Online. There are two problems, both manifest themselves throughout the site. I am most concerned however, with the shared document folder native to the site.
Problem 1: Files uploaded to the Document folder are not viewable by anyone other than the uploader.
Problem 2: Files cannot be moved to another document library by anyone other than the site creator (me). This includes users designated as site owners.
Question: Are there any settings I am missing that do not require Admin Center privileges that could fix these problems? I've checked permissions, and I do not believe this is a permission issue, but I'm open to suggestions.
Question 2: Has anyone had these issues and knows how to fix them, even if they require Admin Center privileges? If you do, I'll forward your recommendations along to our IT support staff.
