In our SharePoint Doc Library we hit the dreaded 5000 threshold and ended up with 605 over and it caused a ton of problems and grief.
I have read - Managing large lists and libraries
But it totally misses the part when you configure the actual filter, it doesn't describe using the Conditions such as equal to etc. What "Today" or "Me" mean and the actual end result you get from doing this.
Can someone help me to tune my view filter so I dont hit the threshold?
I have created indexes for Created, Modified and Modified By.
But have no understanding on how to create a correct filter for the view to stop hitting the threshold.
