Does the new 'Modern' site UI implementation for Sharepoint team sites really not allow you to simply add your own custom image with a link?
In a modern team site I see the options to add an Image webpart, and the option to add a link webpart.
The add link automatically presents its own preview of the page you are linking to and is not one you can set.
I can add a single tiled Hero into a 3 column section but only if I add it to a 1 column section first and then change it afterwards, otherwise I get the 'Can't show layout options. Make your window larger and try again'. Again there is no control over the image as it shows you its own idea of a preview of the image you select.
I am just missing something? I know there is a road map.
