Hi,
We have a customer who uses external sharing in Sharepoint Online. I works fine except
from one external user. Here is what happens.
The site is shared with the external user account abc@123.dk
abc@123.dk is also subscribed to Office 365 (on another tenantthat belongs to 123.dk).
The user abc@123.dk has an Exchange Online plan 1.
When the external user tries to login to the external SharePoint site he gets the error message:
Sorry, but we're having trouble signing you in.
We received a bad request.
The internal SharePoint user that sends the sharing invitation has an E3 license and therefore the external user should be licensed for logging in. My theory is that the user is not allowed to sign in to the external SharePoint site because he has an Office 365 subscription that do not contain SharePoint online license. Can anyone confirm this or tell me what else could be the problem?
