We currently have multiple SharePoint sites and folders setup but I am having some questions come at me about if the functionality is available.
1. is that I would be ( at least currently) need to use "Classic" experience SharePoint because the "Modern" does not support the "Connect to Outlook Functionality"
2. I have current SharePoint sites that I cannot drag emails into to save them there (the option is greyed out when I try. The caveat is that I can create new folders ( what appears to be inside of SharePoint sites that I have linked to my outlook client.) I can drag the emails into that folder. How/why/what permissions is that one got that the others are not? Is that even inside SharePoint because it cannot be found once I log into SharePoint online's management page. Is that folder actually local to my machine and not propagating to 365?
3. Yes I know this can be done inside onedrive that is synched to clients but the end users love their workflow of the public folder style inside outlook.
Sorry for the Rant but I am kind of baffled at a few things and I am not a Sharepoint Online Expert, just someone who knows a little more than others around me so I get to be the expert.
If the answer to some of these questions are No, i just need to know that.
