We are starting a new SharePoint online instance and have established an information architecture as part of our governance plan. This IA includes specific columns that every document library should have, across all sites in the site collection.
To make this easier, we have created a new version of the doc lib that already contains these columns and have added it to our app store. However, I cannot find a way to "hide" or disable the existing Document Library app so that users cannot add it to their sites. Is there any way to do this?
