Any way to tag a distribution list (or group of people) from a newsfeed or discussion board?

Hi,

We have SharePoint online through Office365. 

We want to have a way to tag either a DL (or a non-person email) in a Newsfeed (or Discussion Board), to alert group members of the post.

Is there a way to do this?
