Merging SharePoint articles/pages into one file

I need some help on this. Background: different news articles are created on SharePoint 2010 daily to update the pages with news. Because some of the target reader cannot access the intranet, merging these articles into one document (e.g. PDF, which is our preference and what we're trialling) and emailing the merged file was considered. The ideal would be to have the articles appearing exactly the same in layout from the SharePoint articles. This was tested, however problems were encountered. Problems: after merging the articles into a PDF file, some formatting (i.e. image positions, tables used to arrange articles into two columns) get lost. The PDF document come out with articles lacking the original layout “structure”, if you will.  If there is a space for one line at the end of the page, only the title of the article will appear on this bit of page, and the rest continue on the second page. Most frustratingly, the images - which would've lost their original position - shift to the top of the text (e.g. from right/left) to the top of article. Sometimes the images stretch over the footer of the PDF page. And because of the page breakages on the PDF, an article with a large image (e.g. infographic), would have the text in one page and the image moved to the next page.

Is there a solution for this?  Or is it possible to merge the articles into one html file instead of PDF?
