We are working with SharePoint 2010 and SQL Server 2012 & Master Data Services. We have been building our system to local servers. Would it be possible to use SharePoint Online for our "solution"? That would be great for some cases that it is not necessary to install a local "full" SharePoint.
Our solution needs to e.g.:
- Use Nintex; can Nintex be deployed and workflows used and edited just like in local SharePoint?
- Connect from SharePoint to external service (located at <address>:8100), connections include REST calls, GET returns information in 'json'-format, POST sending files to external service
- Connect from external site (UI) to SharePpoint with writing rights to Library and reading rights to other lists. This needs addresses to library and lists.
- Making the installation lot easier: Run Power Shell scripts
Are above mentioned things possible when using SharePoint Online? Hope my explanation was clear enough. If needed, please ask for clarification and I'll do my best :-)
