These are the lists that I have created. I need to add workflows to them.
1. Create Custom List: "Employee Data" with fields:<u5:p></u5:p>
- Record entry (as Title field)<u5:p></u5:p>
- Employee (as Person field)<u5:p></u5:p>
- Annual Leave Allocated (as number)<u5:p></u5:p>
- Annual Leave Remaining (as number)<u5:p></u5:p>
- Family Leave Allocated (as number)<u5:p></u5:p>
- Family Leave Remaining (as number)<u5:p></u5:p>
- Training Days Allocated (as number)<u5:p></u5:p>
- Training Days Remaining (as number)<u5:p></u5:p>
- and add 3 people for this list, any people, assign 20 days annual leave to each, 5 days family to each and 10 days training to each. Set the remaining days for<u5:p></u5:p>
each user now as 20 annual, 5 family and 10 training days.<u5:p></u5:p>
- enable Version Control<u5:p></u5:p>
2. Create Custom List: "Leave Types" with fields:<u5:p></u5:p>
- Leave Type (as Title field)<u5:p></u5:p>
- and add 3 records for "Annual Leave", "Family Leave" and "Training Leave"<u5:p></u5:p>
- enable Version Control<u5:p></u5:p>
3. Create Custom List: "Leave Application"<u5:p></u5:p>
- enable Version Control<u5:p></u5:p>
- create fields:<u5:p></u5:p>
- "Employee" (applying) as Person<u5:p></u5:p>
- "Start Date" as Date<u5:p></u5:p>
- "End Date" as Date<u5:p></u5:p>
- "Days Required" as Number<u5:p></u5:p>
- "Manager for Approval" as Person<u5:p></u5:p>
- "Leave Type" as Lookup (point to "Leave Types" list and use title field)<u5:p></u5:p>
- "Motivation" as Multiple Lines Text<u5:p></u5:p>
- "HR Notified" as Choice with values "Yes" and "No" (No being default value)<u5:p></u5:p>
- Set all fields as required<u5:p></u5:p>
4. Create Calendar List: "Leave Calendar"<u5:p></u5:p>
- enable Version Control
Base on these 4 tasks that I have completed, I will need to do workflows. Please advise step by step instructions.
4. Create New Workflow in SharePoint Designer on list "Leave Application"<u5:p></u5:p>
- name workflow: "Leave Request"<u5:p></u5:p>
- Workflow must be able to send a approval request (SPD Action: "Start Approval Process") to the "Manager" in the current record. If approved it needs to send a email to HR and notify them of the approved leave. The workflow must be able to change the "HR Notified" field from "No" to "Yes". If the leave is rejected, it must notify the "user" (Created by) that his/her leave was rejected. If it was rejected, the "HR Notified" field remains as "No"<u5:p></u5:p>
- set Workflow to "Start Manually" and "Start Automatically when New Item Created"<u5:p></u5:p>
5. Create New Workflow in SharePoint Designer on list "Leave Application"<u5:p></u5:p>
- name workflow: "Calculate Days Remaining"<u5:p></u5:p>
- Workflow must be able to lookup the current user applying for leave to check how many days is available in "Remaining" days for the type of leave he/she is applying for. So that when a user requests for leave, the system looks for him/her in the "Employee Data" and emails the user and the manager the amount of days this user has remaining for this leave request.<u5:p></u5:p>
- set Workflow to "Start Manually" and "Start Automatically when New Item Created"<u5:p></u5:p>
6. Create New Workflow in SharePoint Designer on list "Leave Application"<u5:p></u5:p>
- name workflow: "Calculate Days Remaining"<u5:p></u5:p>
- Workflow must be able to update the "Leave Calendar" and show APPROVED leave from the users. You will need to use the "Create Item in List" SPD Action to create a record in "Leave Calendar" BUT ONLY IF the current record's leave has been approved (Approval Status = "Approved"). If leave was rejected in MUST NOT update calendar.<u5:p></u5:p>
