How to periodically maintain devices ?
Hello,
how to periodically maintain devices? Say you create a list of devices (user client PCs, Servers, ..), and want the client PCs to be maintained once a month starting in the first week on Monday and the Servers to be maintained in the second week on Monday.
Then when you're maintaining a device, you click that devices, set the checkboxes of the maintained sub-items of that device, and click finish (device is now marked as maintained and has a green background color). Is there a program to do that?

Repeating tables creating different ID for each row in sharepoint list
I have made a material request form published in sharepoint list. I made the form in infopath and it looks great. One small problem I am encountering. When the users submit the form with multiple line items (using repeating table), sharepoint shows each
line item as a separate ID. For eg: If they have listed 5 line items in the form, I am seeing 5 different ID's in sharepoint. ID 1 showing line item 1, ID 2 showing item 2 and so on. How can I have 1 ID with all the line items in the same form.

External Access to Sharepoint Folder/File does not work
Hello
There is a problem which someone wants to share a “File” or “Folder” in library in Sharepoint Online with extern user.
It doesn’t matter if the user choose:” Anyone” or “Specific people “the receiver gets access denied, you don't have access to this resource.
Copy the link and try in private browser gave the reciever also the same error.
- Allow Sharing to authenticated external users is active
- Use shorter links when sharing files and folders is active
- Default Link Type: Anonymous Access – Anyone with the link is active

Hi,
i get an error trying to apply template with the command Apply-PnPProvisioningTemplate on a site with an alternate language matching my profile.
- The Default Language of the site is set English, with
Swedish as Alternate Language
(and other languages) - The site is shown in Swedish (due to my profile settings)
- I get the error message in Swedish "Listan Lista över användarinformation finns inte på webbplatsen med webbadressen https://[...]", "User Information List does not exist at urlhttps://[...]"
- I remove Swedish as alternate language
- I can run the script without errors

Error when i try to GRANT FULL CONTROL PERMISSION TO A WORKFLOW
I am working on a sharepoint online classic team site (which is the root site), which have publishing features enabled. now i want to grant the workflow the ability to have full control, so i follow these steps mentioned on this link https://blog.devoworx.net/2016/01/31/unauthorized-http-workflow-how-to-create-a-workflow-with-elevated-permissions-by-using-the-sharepoint-2013-workflow/
Mainly i did:-
1. enable the "Activate Workflows can use app permissions" feature.
2. i copied the app id from "Site Settings >Below Users and Permissions > Click on Site App Permissions"
3. then i navigate to http://hostname/_layouts/15/appinv.aspx.
4. i paste the app id, click on lookup >> i got the app details.
5. then inside the "APP Permissions Request XML", i typed the following:-

6. click on save but i got this error:-

now the strange thing is that yesterday on a test site collection inside the same tenant, i repeated the same steps and they worked well. but the only differences is that on the
site which worked for me, when i access "Site Settings >Below Users and Permissions > Click on Site App Permissions", i only got one app which is the workflow one, as follow:-
while on the root site which i got the error on , there are 2 apps as follow:-
not sure if this can be a reason for the problem ? or what could be the problem for the error i am receiving ?

View all checked out documents by all users in all libraries
Hello,
I have a site collections with multiple large mordern libraries (more than 50k documents - indexed and with folders) , the users would like to have a view of all the documetns that are checkeout by all users. I tried the following:
1) setup a view with filters on checkedoutto column, but I get the listview threshold exceeded message (even though the number of documents checekout is less than 5k).
2) The search route by creating a refinablestring for the checekouttouser, that works but the crawl time sometimes is long and it does nto show realtime data.
3) Manage checekout out documents whith no version in list settings will not work as it does not show the docoments which have checked in versions.
Any other suggestions / recommendations?

SharePoint Survey - Item cannot be deleted while on hold.
Hi,
Although I am a site collection administrator, when I try to delete uncompleted survey items I get the error.
Item cannot be deleted while on hold.
I had created lot of test entries while creating the survey, and had to 'save & close' without completion. Is there a way to clean these uncompleted entries.
This issue does not come for the Survey 'Completed' entries.

Documents - Latest used, and most used
Hi!
I'm wondering if anyone has any experience on this subject, and have any solution? :)
1. For the current user, via API show the Latest used documents in a specific library.
I've tried using the graph, and to filter out documents:
me/insights/used/
The main issue with this is that it's a aggregation of all the things I've used recently in Office365, so it cannot promise that I get results from that specific library.
2. For the current user, via API show the Most Used documents in a specific library.
me/insights/trending
The same thing here, this is all trending items, even though I can filter them.
The other thing I could think of is to use search with a path to the document library, sort the result by ViewsRecently.
But this would not be user specific.

Editing Migrated InfoPath Forms in SharePoint Online
I am in the process of completing a migration from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint Online. After copying the InfoPath XML form files from my old SharePoint 2010 site to my SharePoint Online site and relinking the forms, I am unable to make changes to any of the copied forms due to the people picker fields being invalid.
The user names in the forms come across as DOMAIN\username instead of just the username. The form allows me to delete the existing DOMAIN\username, enter the username again, and it resolves when you click the "Check Names" button.
I then click the Submit button and despite the fields not being highlighted in red anymore, I still can't submit the form. The form error "InfoPath cannot submit the form because it contains errors." message comes up.
However, if I click the Close button the people picker fields will update and if I select No, I don't want to close the form and click Submit again it will work.
Is there any way to fix this issue without all of the extra clicks?

Best way to Sync a SharePoint Online with a O365 Group
I see plenty of entries to sync a O365 group with a SharePoint group, but not the other way around. When we send invitations to SharePoint, it automatically adds them to the SharePoint Group, but the AD group can't seem to be set as that (it's just
an account, won't let me add inside the SharePoint Site). Any suggestions?

Can we change the Font-Family of our sharepoint online modern experience
I am working on multiple site collections inside a sharepoint online tenant. and we need to change the font-family for all the text inside our sites to be courier, as this is the official font-familty for our customer. so is there a way to do so ? so i can
force all the text inside the modern web parts (such as News Modern Web Part, Event modern web part, Modern Pages titles, etc) to be based on this font-family?
Now currently most of the built-in text will be based on this font-family

HR WorkFlow - SP online (365) - feasibility
Hi,
Need advice whether following setup is possible to implement using standard SharePoint online at Office365. If third party add-on would be essential to complete the job, please advise which are recommended.
Process participants:
- Division managers responsible for hiring within division (R&D, IT, Finance, etc.)
- Division managers approving new employees within division
- HR staff responsible to proceed recruitment
- IT staff provisioning accesses to new employees
- CEO approving new employee necessity
Process follows:
- Division HR manager applies to CEO to hire new person
- CEO accepts or declines application
- If accepted, application goes to HR staff to recruit new employee
- HR staff choose a candidate for approval by division manager
- If accepted, application goes to IT staff with details of systems to be provided, equipment, etc
- Process ends
Now, this is linear 5 steps workflow, so it should be implemented quite easy, there are however some uncertainties:
Is it possible to make certain data invisible for given participants?
- Applications from one division should not be visible by managers of another division
- Certain fields should not be visible by IT staff - like salary amount
- CEO should have full visibility
And the last thing - it is possible, that division HR manager would like to hire more than one employee within single application. If CEO accepts to hire 10 employees, HR staff will have to proceed 10 recruitments and as a result ask for 10 permissions from division manager and 10 IT applications for accesses and equipment. In that case, single workflow task will spawn another 10. Is it possible at all to implement it within Sharepoint online?
