i am building a modern flat intranet using teams and SharePoint online.
What i need to know is the default modern team site that get built via the propagation engine when a team is created in team, is there any way i can create a template that i design So that when this occurs it builds my design instead of the default one.
in short can i redesign the default modern team site build to design of mine.

I am a full SharePoint Admin (have full access to Site Collection and Site Admin). I have created multiple subsites that need to have unique permission levels set so they are not inheriting permissions. I've created 4 subsites yet I cannot edit any of their pages. I get "This control is currently disabled." I went to one of the site's permissions and did a check on mine and get Full Control then a Deny.

1. How is a full SP Admin getting a Deny?
2. I do not want to start creating security groups as we have yet sync'd AD Azure and want to keep it clean. Is there a reason why a Site Admin would not be granted edit access on a page that they created ie me?
UPDATE:
My PM Team Site has 3 subsites (Policies, Templates and Projects) which I have full Edit capabilities on those pages, even though when I check my permissions on those I get the Deny but can still edit. Any third level subsite, I cannot edit any pages. Is there a level restriction for subsites? I've deleted all my third level subsites, created new ones (with the KB articles referencing enabling custom scripts) but still cannot edit those pages.we want to move files from different modern team sites into a single team site, so i think we can use the built-in Move To feature , but we have around 15 GB of data that we want to move, so can we rely on the Move To option to move this amount of data?
second question, will the built-in MoveTo option preserve the permissions and version history for the files and folders after the move?
I have created a number of lists and when I go to the setting for the lists the default view ("All Items") does not appear in Views. This is frustrating as it means I cannot edit the view. For instance I am unable to alter the column ordering, even if I use the link in the Columns section. I have resorted to creating a new view that mirrors the default view ("AllItems")
I have looked at this in SharePoint Designer and the default view is not showing here either.
Is there a SharePoint setting that I need to adjust so that the default view is displayed?

I have a new project to move files from multiple SharePoint modern team sites to a single SharePoint online document library.and my main concern is how we can preserve the permission for the files/folder.. So is any third party tool or a built-in approach to support such a migration?
We only need to migrate files, and we need to support this scenario:- 1. Let say we have SiteA and all the folders inherit their permission from SiteA >> and we migrate the files/folders to SiteB >> then we need SiteA's SharePoint groups to get migrated also, so the migrated documents will have the exact permission as the source documents.. or any migration tool will migrate the files/folder to SiteB and set them to inherit their permission from SiteB, so in this case the permission setting for the migrated files/folder will be lost (since SiteA and SiteB has different permission settings..)?
I have a classic team site collection inside our SharePoint online, the site collection has publishing features enabled at the site collection and site levels. now inside a folder >> i stop the permission inheritance >> but when i try to grant a user access to the folder, i got this error:-
any advice? why SharePoint is allowing me to break the permission without allowing me to add users to the folder? also if i disable the "Limited-access user permission lockdown mode" while i have publishing features enabled, will
this have negative effect on my site?

I have a classic online team site + workflow 2013 which run on a custom list.
now inside the custom list we define the following inside its Advance setting:-
this means that only the creator of the item + any user who have Design permission or above can modify the list item. this is working well from list UI itself, but the workflow 2013 will raise Access Denied error, when a user with Design permission update a list item the user did not create . so can anyone advice why WF 2013 is not allowing users with Design permission to update the list item inside its steps? is this a bug inside SharePoint workflow 2013? and is there any workarounds?

her is a full scenario :-
1. UserA has Design Permission on the list + UserB has Contribute Permission on the list.
2. UserB create a new list item >> workflow change the item status to "Open" >> everything will work well.
3. UserA edit the list item >> change the title >> click on save >> his update will be saved >> but when the workflow tries to update the item status to "Open" >> the workflow will raise this error:-
although UserA was able to edit the list item, but the workflow is only allowing the creator of the item to update the item through its steps...

I am using SharePoint groups in Target Audience of navigation, but it is not working in SharePoint Online. The link where I added SharePoint group as target audience, does not appear to that users.

I have a list which have unique permission and all user have contribute on the list + read on the site level. and i created a workflow 2013 inside the list, as follow:-
but currently when a user add a new item inside the list >> the workflow will show this error:-
now the list which is raising the error inside the workflow is the same list which the user have contribute permission on.. so can anyone advice on this please?

I installed a trial version of the app Work Time Pro of IVERO.
When I am using the app and for example click a submit button it crashes. Sometimes it doesn't even start but crashes when I try to open it. It work better as an admin. As a user I can do almost nothing without mak it crash.
It throughs a "Error 500 - Connection error". I don't know if that is a Sharepoint problem or a problem of the app. I have internet connection and all other Sharepoint features work perfectly fine.
Can anybody help me on that?

There appears to be an issue with Remote Event Receivers registered using Modern Authentication. I have created an App Registration in Azure AD, and granted it Sites.FullControl.All permission. I can successfully authenticate using this app (by certificate), and register a remote event receiver URL for the ItemFileMoved event on an existing document library. The registration succeeds, and can be queried and returned from the List.EventReceivers.
However, the event receiver URL is never contacted. User operations on the list using the web UI simply do not cause the receiver to be triggered.
The exact same receiver and registration code, when authenticating using legacy forms digest and ClientCredential for a user account work perfectly and receive events correctly.
Can anyone confirm if this is a bug with SharePoint, and if there is any workaround available, or any fix that might be coming soon?

I am trying to use ctx javascript variable in one site with a list I created (just added webpart with some javascript and another webpart with a list ) , but getting "Uncaught ReferenceError: ctx is not defined" . But when I Tasks list - ctx variable is there.
Is that a default behavior and I just need to include some more JS (If so - what do I need to add) ?

I recently set up a SharePoint site, and it is now at a stage where I would like to share it with clients.
However, upon loading the site you are required to login using a Microsoft account. Some of these clients will be using non-Microsoft accounts, and, to my knowledge, will be unable to login and access the site.
Is there another way around this?
TLDR; I would like to give clients access to my SharePoint site (restricted), but some are using non-Microsoft email accounts, and will be unable to login. Is there solution to this?

My First Question is: Is the Microsoft Sharepoint Online Client for .NetCore available now?
I am rewriting the one-drive application from normal .net Framework to .NetCore and for that I need SharePointOnlineClient suppport for the .NetCore.
I searched and found that there is no official support for SharePoint Online Client for .NetCore and through more online search I found the link for SharePoint .Net Core support: https://www.nuget.org/packages/TTCUE.NetCore.SharepointOnline.CSOM.16.1.8029.1200
But in my old code there is a use of Tenant to add other user as Site Admin andthis new library does not support tenant.
What should I do for the tenant support? Can anybody please give me some idea? What should I do with tenant code

We have 2 site collections SiteA & SiteB. and inside siteA we have 2 document libraries DL1 & DL2. Inside DL1 we have folders and files with unique permissions. now if we use the MoveTo option to move the folders from DL1 to DL2 the folders' & files' permissions will be preserved which is great. but if we move the folders from SiteA to SiteB then the folders' & files' permissions will be lost. so can anyone advice why this is happening? and is there a way to preserve the permissions when moving folders and files across sites?
