sharepoint 2013-Office 2013 - IE 9 Drag and Drop doesn't work

We are using Office 2013 and IE 9; after upgrade SharePoint online with Office 365 E3.

I am unable to drag and drop a file into a document library. It spins for 5 minutes and then stops. The file is not listed as uploaded.

If I oopen the library with Explorer, I can drag and drop the same files with no problem.

If I click Add a Document or Upload a file, the document uploads with no problem.

My users will need an easy way such as drag and drop to upload multiple files.

I am wondering if there is a setting or addin that I might be missing. I also have SharePoint Designer 2013 installed on my machine.
