I've been looking at a number of options in relation to development a custom SharePoint deployment. Basically I'm not planning there will be a large number of users on the system (<20 to start).
The question I have is that I want to be able to rollup data from lists, tasks etc in the site to a dashboard or scorecard on the front page. The Sharepoint Online Options (http://office.microsoft.com/en-au/sharepoint/collaboration-tools-compare-sharepoint-plans-FX103789400.aspx) do not have access to scorecards and dashboards, but they say Business Intelligence is available with Excel Services, Pivot point and powerview. Would it be possible to build a dashboard / summary page without the scorecard and dashboard functionality? It seems somewhat odd that it is not available, this sort of reporting is fundamental to most business solutions these days.
Any advice and assistance is much appreciated.
