Explorer View & Errors

Hello All IT Pro's,

I have a problem with mapping a SharePoint library to Windows Explorer on Windows 8.1.

Currently it works fine, but everyday we have an error that it cannot connect. You must open the SharePoint library and click on "Open in Explorer" once everyday to re-gain access.

This is very annoying for the users, and I have found an article explaining the issue:
(http://community.office365.com/en-us/b/office_365_buzz/archive/2012/12/12/understanding-the-access-denied-error-message-when-mapping-a-network-drive-to-sharepoint-online.aspx).

The user receives this error because the session cookie for SharePoint Online has expired and must be “refreshed” in order to successfully access the mapped network drive again.

I have done everything that is in this KB: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/2616712

But it is hard to accept this as a solution.

Does anyone have an idea of a program/tool that provides the same service and tackles the need to login everyday.

But without Offline Syncing. it can be a part of the program. But all documents must be available through the explorer view. And not only the synced ones.

I have tried Modus Explorer and Colligo, but both do not provide this functionality.

Kind regards,

Thomas Collier
