Editing PDF's from Sharepoint library using Adobe Acrobat 10/11

Hi,

We are trying to find a way to be able to edit pdf's directly from a SharePoint library using Adobe Acrobat 10 or 11 in SharePoint online.  We've tried the fix here ===>https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1379554 to no avail.  We used to be able to do this when we were on SharePoint on premise 2007 and 2010.  What is also interesting is it works when clicking a pdf from a search.  Right now, the work-arounds are to either open the .pdf in Windows Explorer or to save locally and then upload manually back to SharePoint.  Does anyone know any ideas?
