Hello:
We are migrating a SharePoint 2007 environment to SharePoint Online. There are older versions of Office documents that will be migrated. I have started with a UAT guide and through my own testing of our test data I am finding that older Excel documents do not have the option to open with Excel Online.
1. Am I correct in thinking that older versions of Excel are unable to open in Excel Online?
2. if that is true is there an automated way to save them as a newer version? or does a user need to open the document and then save as a newer version?
