I am using SharePoint online as part of Office365. I have a top level site that has a newsfeed, calendar, announcement, document library etc.
When I set the permissions of the "everyone" group to "Contribute", they can view everything, but cannot add/edit any of the above lists.
If I change the permissions of the group to "Edit", they can then add/edit to the above lists.
I would be fine leaving it to "Edit", except that the users now have the ability to change the layout of pages.
Has anyone else had this issue?
