Credentials in a Client Side Web Part

Hello,

Is there a way to embed credentials securely in a Client-Side Web Part?

I'd like the Web Part to connect to other applications like Salesforce or another SharePoint Online site using an application key. Obviously including the credentials in the client side code will expose them to users, is there another way?
