Where in SharePoint Online Admin Centre to set Time Zone for all sites?
I can't find any settings in SPO admin centre where you can set correct Time Zone for all sites.
I know I can set Time Zone via Site Settings >Regions in each site, but I want set it globally so that all sites in the company have the correct time zone.
Can any one give me a pointer?

"Open in Excel" does not open the excel file" in Google Chrome Browser
Hi,
Google Chrome was upgraded from version 67 to 72 on 1-Apr-2019. Many users complained that if any excel application files "Open in Excel" does not work from Office 365 Sharepoint. but it opens "Open in Excel Online". Same happens for other office applications as well.
I have uninstalled Google Chrome version 72 and installed version 67. It did not work
I have updated the Google Chrome version to 73, It did not work.
Installed Operating system is Windows 10 64 bit Operating System. It opens correctly in Internet Explorer. Please help to solve the issue

Unable to mark as "Best Reply" on discussion list using REST/Javascript CSOM
Hello,
I am unable to find API to mark reply as a "best reply" programmatically using javascript CSOM/REST.
From OOTB UI, when user mark any reply as a "Best Reply" then the field "BestResponseId" updated with the reply Id properly. However, when I try to update it using REST/CSOM it doesn't updated because this is a read only field.
I google a lot but didn't find the API to set "Best Reply" using REST/CSOM/JSOM.
I only found below API's related to discussion board,
1. SPUtility.CreateNewDiscussion
2. SPUtility.CreateNewDiscussionReply
3. SPUtility.MarkDiscsussionAsFeatured
4. SPUtility.UnmarkDiscussionAsFeatured
5. Reputation.setLike, Reputation.Rating etc

Cannot undeclare records from my docuemt library
Hi all, I've tried manually undeclaring records in my document library but get this error when cllicking on compliance details of the files in the document library '' Sorry, something went wrong An unexpected error has occurred. We have also tried various powershell options after googling them online but no luck yet.
Has anyone experienced anything similar or have any solutions?

Timeline disappears from All Tasks view
I synched a Microsoft Project schedule to my sharepoint site. The tasks show up. But the timeline disappears. The page renders and initially leaves a space for the timeline at the top. But then the space collapses and no timeline shows. I am speculating here, but I wonder if it has to do with the years long length of my project... it can't render the necessary timescale then fails?
I've done this before and it usually works great. But on some sites, that space collapses after a few seconds and no timeline ever appears. Just to clarify, I definitely have the checkbox selected to show the timeline view, I am in All Tasks, and I have selected items to appear in the timeline.
Any help you can provide would be helpful.

Searching by Country or Region of user in sharepoint Online
Hello,
It's been several weeks that I'm strugling to add as refiner of my search page on sharepoint the COUNTRY filter of user.
I can retrieve the jobTitle, the department. but not the country.
1- I searched if there is an existing managed properties that can retrieve Country field, none of them works.
2- I also added custom managed properties that are mapped on some other unused CrawledProperties. also, can't find the right one.
So I suspected that the country value is not even sychronized from Active Directory to O365. but Not, it's synchronized, and following this link, https://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/19901.dirsync-list-of-attributes-that-are-synced-by-the-azure-active-directory-sync-tool.aspx; MS said that the Synced Object Attribute for Country is : CO.
Not that for the country value, I can see it in my sharepoint profile
I can't uderstand at this moment How I can find this attribute on the sharepoint Side (crawled property) so I can use it on my refiner.

Not able to sync SharePoint Calendar with outlook
Hi,
I'm not able to sync SharePoint calendar with my outlook. When I try to sync it with outlook i'm getting an error like "Error (0x80070005) performing the task "SharePoint": "You are not authorized to view this SharePoint Calendar" HTTP 401.
I have permission for this calendar.

adding multitple buttons after the splist fields in a newform.aspx and update the list
based on the below link/thread,
am able to create sections successfully and validate the entries using presaveaction().
But the issue am facing is,
Customer wants to add 2 new buttons, say "Okay", and "re-open" . for the sections (5),(6),(7).
is it possible to add a new buttons on this newform.aspx ? because we can not have a button column in the splist / newform and update the splist programmatically or do some manipulation /send email.
1) how to create a button and place it immediately below the sections, 5,6,7
2) if yes, when the user clicks on okay button in each of the 5,6,7 sections, i need to send email, some fields need to be disabled.
3) when he clicks on re-open button , some fields need to be enabled
4) assuming , when user clicks on okay button, before clicking save button, how to update the splist with a unique id generated and how to fetch it again in order to manipulate for save button click?
and after click on okay button, I need to send email to the assignee people picker.(which can be done)
and after click on re-open button some fields needs to be enabled.!!
but in this newform.aspx, how can i a create a okay button and re-open immediately below the sections!

One or more services were unregistered from the Microsoft Azure Service Bus. Cannot register Services/AppEventReceiver.svc on Microsoft Azure Service Bus: Unable to connect to the remote server
I am developing a remote event receiver for our site collection. so inside Visual Studio 2015, i did the following:-
1. i created a new sharepoint add-in. i added the code as per this link https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/kaevans/2014/02/26/attaching-remote-event-receivers-to-lists-in-the-host-web/.
for the debugging site collection i chose a test enterprise wiki online site collection which I have enabled its Sideloading of apps feature.
2. inside Azure i created a new service bus, as follow >> i copied the primary connection string:-
3. inside the visual studio project >> Properties >> SharePoint >> i added the above service bus's primary connection string, as follow:-
4. i run the project >> where i got this message >> i select the list >> click on "Trust":-
5. i got the app showed the home page:-
6. i got the app added correctly inside my site content
but the visual studio stop running and showed these 2 messages:-

Files disappeared when using the MOVE TO
Hello,
We are using SharePoint Online and when I moved content from one site collection to another site collection using "Move To", content is disappeared. The content is removed from the source and never showed up in the destination. I tried to recover
the content, but it's not showing in the source or destination not even the recycle bin.I tried to recreate the scenario after some time but not able to succeed.
Do any of you faces these abnormal behaviors of the "Move To"? I want to make sure it was just a glitch. Please let me know if you guys have any suggestions or concerns.

New-SPOPublicCdnOrigin returns error
Hello
When I run the following command
New-SPOPublicCdnOrigin -Url https://{tenant}.sharepoint.com/sites/dev/SiteAssets/cdnI get the following error:
New-SPOPublicCdnOrigin - CDN feature is not enabled by the tenant administrator.
Running Get-SPOTenant | select PublicCdnEnabled returns False
So then I run the Add-SPOTenantCdnOrigin command which runs successfully.
My question is: Why did the New-SPOPublicCdnOrigin fail? How do I get it to work?

How to show inactive/sign in blocked user in SharePoint online people picker control?
Hello,
We are using the SharePoint Online modern UI. In our HR site there are documents that need to tag with the employee name and people picker is the best solution to show the employee name. Some of the employees are no longer working with the organization and the need to preserve the documents along with the employee name, terminated employee accounts are inactive or sign in blocked in the active directory (Azure Active Directory) and not showing in the people picker control. Is there a way we can show inactive/sign in blocked users in the people picker control? Would be great if anybody knows how I can do this.

Moving data between custom issue tracking list

- 1x called devHelpDesk (Test)
- 1x called HelpDesk (Live)
I am trying to find a way to move the data from the devHelpDesk list to HelpDesk list
The 2 lists are not on the same site
Is this achievable?

Authentication token issue when calling SharePoint Online from Azure Web Application
Hi Everyone,
We are facing issue of Authentication when user tries to get data or display data in iFrame in a Azure web application. Web Application is hosted in a different environment but we have registered the application in AAD.
When user first logins to Web Application then he get access to both Web App and SharePoint online. But sometimes web application do not ask for login through authentication code, in this case they do not get access to SharePoint online.
Can anyone help here?

SharePoint Search-Text Preview-What is the Managed Property of that Text preview
Hello Experts,
I am seeking your help to achieve following:
"O365 OOTB search provides text\keyword based search and its preview (These previews are actually a couple sentences from each search result(document) where the keyword is found inside it. In most cases, it is the first line from the document)".
As per our project design, We need to search the managed property of that text preview so that, we can use it as per our design and requirement.

Modern Team Site - Width of Side bar
Hello,
We've noticed that on a Modern SharePoint Team site the "Display Name" of links on the side menu get truncated and don't get auto wrapped onto a 2nd line in the Classic view
Does anyone know how to get around this ? or know if there are any planned changes on the Road Map to rectify this ?
I've investigated the use of the top menu but this is only available on a Communication Site and not on a Team Site
